Vaulen Open Air Festival 2026

Yesterday I experienced the Vaulen Open Air Festival in Stavanger for the first time! It is a giant festival with national and international artists. What drew me in this time was Taio Cruz and Black Eyed Peas! I remember these artists from my teenage years, and I just HAD TO watch them perform live!

The festival is gigantic (at least compared to what i’m used to…) with over 22 000 tickets sold! Tons of people, lots of fun. At times it was a bit hectic, but totally worth it.

Steep prices though!! Even with my student discount, i paid 1199,- Norwegian Crowns (translates roughly into 110€’ish) for a few hours with different artists playing. By all means, it was worth it - but it was still quite steep pricing if you ask me. And this was the “Standard/basic” ticket - it could easily have gotten more expensive than this.

So, would I recommend this? Well - if there is more than 1 artist playing that you’d like to see, and the weather is nice - sure, go for it! But if it was going to rain, and no artist in particular that you’d like to watch or listen to perform… I would have given it a hard pass.

I’ve included some footage below! Enjoy!
