Cyber Security Management exam results

The time has come… Boy oh boy, have I been waiting for this! With a total combined score of 95/100 for the entire subject, I was graded A (top score) in the subject! WOOHOO!!!

I’m over the moon to be honest! This is insane! Although, truth be told… I’ve spent many weeks, days and hours researching, learning, writing and attending online sessions… I’m glad that it has amounted to this. That it was worth it.

As I’ve come to learn - grades actually matter. Like, beyond the point of just getting accepted into your preferred study or university. An employer actually checks them, sometimes. It can be an positive advocate for hiring you instead of another person. It can be the differential factor between switching careers or being “forced” to stay in your lane.

At the end of the day - I do believe that personality and your “person” is the most defining factor, both personally and professionally… But getting decent grades on your diploma will only be a good thing. Sure, it takes time. Yes, some weekends will be for studying, and also yes: You will at times question yourself and your priorities… But I promise you, its worth it.

Well… Not that I’ve experienced that to the full extent yet, but seeing how people with good grades fare, compared to those who didn’t get such grades… Well, it sort of makes me assume that I’m correct. Time will tell.

Either way - the Cyber Security Management subject at University of Agder was excellent. Our professor was wise, innovative and managed to forward the extent and broad dimensions that encompasses Cyber Security as a whole.
I at least feel that I’ve learnt more from this subject alone than any similar subjects that came before it. It truly expanded my horizon and depth. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
