A new keyboard - and it’s soooo good!
Dear all - i’ve just gotten myself a new keyboard, and i love the feel and sound of it! Sure thing, it takes some getting used to, but that will come in the coming weeks i guess! The ROG Azoth (white) with NX Snow switches, i cannot recommend this enough! Dampened, lubed, with a screen (that’s actually useful! it can display system information for example!) and with cool keykaps and rgb (of course)
“But Abbi… why?”
Oh… well, i have a thing for keyboards (no, not like that!!!) - but i generally like keyboards quite alot, and think they’re pretty cool. The look, feel and importance of a great keyboard is a factor we can’t argue; it’s a fact. The ROG Azoth is a great factory-keyboard, being all good to go straight out of the box. Sure thing, you can probably build and engineer a keyboard better suited for you, yourself (if you have the knowledge, time and resources) - but right out of the box; i’d say this keyboard is HARD to beat!
The nifty thing about the ROG Azoth is that it’s able to connect to a total of three (3) sources, being; cable, dongle or Bluetooth. Super nifty and practical if you run a multiple system setup, as i do! You can easily switch between the systems! I also happen to be running a Mac and a Windows system - and wouldn’t you believe it; the STOCK keycaps have both Mac and Windows lettering (score!)
This keyboard:
Gasket mounted: making it really satisfying to type on!
Multi-layer dampening foams: it sounds great when you type!
Factory-lubed switches: The feel of these switches are “god-tier” linears!
OLED display: shows system information, time, date, animations and so much more!
This keyboard is the one to get, if you want the feeling of a custom keyboard, but don’t want to deal with the assembly, the selection process and the part-picking process. Oh, did i mention, you can hot-swap switches here - so if you want to use different switches, or change them: you can totally do that! ASUS even include a switch and keycap puller in the keyboard set (with some switch lube and a brush!) Feels custom, and has some really cool additions in the form of the OLED screen and all the data it can show.

I’m super happy, and i’ll recommend this board to anyone that writes (all from a few chats, to blog posts or articles) and the ones who games and takes their game seriously (don’t worry, us casuals and noobs also get to enjoy this masterpiece)
