Warcraft 3 LAN

It felt like taking a time-machine. Me and two colleagues of mine had a LAN-party. Good food, good laughs and some good games of Warcraft 3 Reforged. It made me realize how much i’ve missed weekends like that. Just a couple of guys playing games, talking smack and having fun.

I also noticed that my “skills” had all but vanished. Dear god. We almost lost to a couple of Computer Easy bots! But as we played more matches throughout the weekend - it slowly but surely came back to me. This amazing game creates a great time on its own… But when shared with others, those great times become legendary!

I think today’s generation of gamers are missing out. The fact that there is no need to be in the same room to play together anymore is much of the reason. We can all agree that it is way more practical these days… But the magic is gone.
I got to relive some of that magic - and it is the best weekend i’ve had in a long time.
