PS5 Pro

I did it. I went out and bought myself a PS5 Pro!! WHAT!!!

After much consideration towards buying a PS5, i settled on a PS5 Pro. Is it more expensive? Yes. But i would say that it’s the world’s “best” console at the moment. Coming from an Xbox Series S, i have a few points to mention here:

• The graphics: OMG! Some games look completely different. Oblivion Remastered (Oblivion being one of my all-time favorite games) looks and plays almost like a totally different game.

• The smoothness: It chops through anything like a a sharpened axe versus a stick. No problem.

• Huge game library (PS4 Compatible, and the PS+ streaming)

• It will get Halo Campaign Evolved (and likely other Halo titles in the future!!). Ofc, the Xbox will also get this, but still! HALO on PLAYSTATION - COME ON! It just justifies the PS5 Pro even more!

The last Playstation i owned was a PS2. A lot has happened since then. A few years ago, I wanted to buy a PS4, but i ended up not doing it. In hindsight, i regret that decision, as i saw how they got some pretty cool games - but also the backwards compatibility to the Playstation library. I grew up on the PS2. Sly Cooper, Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank - that trio right there shaped my childhood gaming experience into a bunch of lovely memories and great times.

Now, with the PS5 Pro, i will create new gaming memories with the best console experience of this console generation, as well as having access to my “gaming childhood”. It makes me smile just thinking about it, really.

A steep price for the console, yes. But i am having a blast playing this thing!
I have zero regrets. Money well spent.
