Back west

I recently moved cross country, from the eastern part of Norway to the west coast. This is a new stage in my life, heck, it is in fact a new life altogether. From a small rented flat to a two story house. Leaving the finance industry, and starting in the oil & gas sector. I am so excited for this to happen. I view this as a great opportunity to rebuild my life into what I’d like it to be.

As everyone else, I too have some things to work on. My attitude, my being. Me. I have dreams that I would like to see put into life, and I will work towards achieving them. For me, the biggest dream has always been to have a family of my own. You know, what some people might call a «basic life». A wife, a couple of kids, and a cat or two. Somehow, that dream got lost over the years. It all got switched out with money, fancy titles and «image» - what ever the heck that is.

Over the next period of time, I will focus on creating the life I would like to have. Not just for the weekends, but for every darn moment. A work in progress, sure, but progress that I wouldn’t mind for the world of me. My goal is to find love again. To find my person. To hopefully get myself a family. That dream will now be given the opportunity to get a foothold, and I will nourish it as good as I can. 

So, I hope to get back on dating apps during this spring & summer season.

I know. Horrible. But oh well, that’s the name of the game these days!
