I tried
Since i was a young boy, i’ve always wanted to create games. Have my own company, and create my own worlds.
I managed to do that. We can discuss the details, and some of you might not agree with me - and thats okay. I am not here to discuss those details, but rather inform you that i have now - after months of thinking about it, decided to close down the companies.
Some of you might not know that, and that is how it should be in most cases. But i will be transparent with you.
For the 1,5 years i have had the sole responsibility of two incorporated companies, in addition to my full-time job and my part-time studies towards getting my masters. For me - this has not been sustainable. It has worn me down, and honestly, made me having a tougher relation to developing in general. The whole “corporate” feel from these things, left me with a constant sour taste…
I will not stop developing. I have some things that i am working on, and will do my best to develop and evolve as a developer.
The holding company and the daughter company (business) have been filed, and will be winding down over the coming year.
We’ll blog soon
